Opinions please!

I would like your opinions on this idea for a game:

You must break into this 3D building allong with 5 or 10 men and steal a highly gaurded object(s). You can choose what men you want from a list of about 100 people. Each person is capable of doing and operating different things. There is also a list of gadgets witch you can buy with an amount of money. You can type in the actions of each man. Then activate, and watch it all happen. In the beggining you get to view your target inside and out. There is more, this is just a basic overview of my idea.

Yeah - good idea. Similar things have been done before, but if you think you can do it, go for it - if it's a different style it's like a completely different game.

definately go for it... some parts sound like they may need a little work, like the list of 100 people (unless you gain them gradually, or have a good sorting method so people don't have to spend too much time picking the "right" ones). Maybe another way to approach that is to have each person pick up to 10 people, and have some way to train them each to be able to do something...?
