Lately I've been getting redirected a lot when I try to use Google. I'll spontaneously be sent to www.google.co.uk or www.google.de for some reason. Anyone here also exepriencing this or know of a way to force the normal interface?

No, that is weird.
Maybe you have some kind of cookie put by google.
Doubt it though.
Are you surfing under a proxy? Some time ago, I always got redirected to the Turkish Google. It turned out that I was using a (Turkish?) proxy.
it could also be caused by the battle between comcast and another isp. they are routing away from sites hosted by each other right now.
something about comcast billing for data transfer and the other isp not happy with the change in agreement with comcast.

That was my first thought - but I thought that if that be the case, other people should be experiencing it too. I'm not using a proxy (not on FireFox, anyway), so I'm wandering if I should just email google and see if they know what's up.
I'm with Thantos... that's the first thing I thought of when I read your post.

Well, they're always wanting to educate people, aren't they?
Google is the nexus of all information. Perhaps they are trying to tell you something?
Btw, were you adopted?
Are you sure? ...

I'm fairly sure google tries to guess your country from your ip address, then sends you to the closest google automatically, hence acessing internet from a turkish proxy, it thinks you're turkish.
How to fix it though, not sure. If you go to a regional google, like google.co.uk, does it still redirect you?
It's a sign. You're going on your mission to either England or to Germany.
