Thread: The coolest sport.....

Okay, that squish game sounds good. I dont like games with too many rules. I figure if you're allowed to cream someone whos in your way then its a good sport. Rugby being rather high up there in the good sport category. I dont like golf. I hate curling. Way too sissy. It may require skill, but... why???

Dancing rocks! (not a sport strictly speaking but you get physical exercise).
Ah, yes. This is good too. Although creaming other dancers that get in your way is usually looked down upon, i still consider it to be quite fun. I spend more money at clubs...

    surfing or snowboarding ownz....
That they do. Although i've yet to surf (i plan to soon) i do snowboard. Snowboarding is most likely the single most fun activity i have ever had the joy of doing. I'll never ski again! Its so tame in comparison.

Squish evolved basically because we couldn't be bothered to learn the rules of squash and we all wanted to play at the same time.

I'm going snowboarding for the first time in February. It should be fun if I manage not to end up on my rump all the time. Which is highly unlikely. Snowboarding salopettes (trousers to you and I) have extra waterproofing around the bum because snowboarders spend more time on their butt than on their board.

Oh, you'd better believe it! lol. The first day plan to be a little sore. I had a bit of nasty luck my first day. Within a half hour of getting on the slope i bailed so badly i fractured my tailbone and wrist. My advice: GET WRISTGUARDS. Dont be an idiot like me and be too lazy to wait in line for them.

You will... But you'll have fun anyways. How many days are you going up? I know that on my third day something just kind of clicked and viola! I could snowboard. You also get the added satisfaction of having skiers perform "exploding bails" for you as you watch them from the lift. Skies and poles and goggles go flying in every direction. None of that on a snowboard.

Hmm... I wonder if my salopettes will accommodate a pillow...

I'm going to northern Italy for 6 days of snowboarding.

LOL!! That must be a sight for snowblind eyes!!

I actually saw a guy do this. Seriously. I laughed at first but by my second day i was starting to think he was a little smarter than me.

I'm really quite jealous now. I'm buying myself a board in a couple of weeks. I'll be up for a total of 9 days (2 different times) this year. My local mountain is pretty good (i do live in British Columbia after all, so none of the mountains are all that bad...) but i wish i had the cash to go to the mainland to Whistler Blackcombe. mmmm...

That must be a sight for snowblind eyes!!
*laughs* It never gets boring, i'll say that much.

Your *local* mountain?! Your local... mountain...

I suppose... Not to brag or anything but we've kind of got it all here in BC. Rainforest, seriously nice mountains, ocean, good weather (most of the year). I even hear theres some desert up north somewhere. I've been a few places in the world but i like it here best (although Beliz and Mexico had some real nice swimming and beaches).
Still, Italy has some nice slopes. ... I'm drifting away here thinking about the view from the top....

Alright, this is too much. This just sucks, be quiet.

Stop being so damn nice all the time, both of you. You're just lying.

Remember: Death is the cure for your fading feelings. You'll get tired of the pointless mountain before you even get there. Get back from your glorified imagination to your own dark life. Everything is worthless, I hate disgusting, ugly white snow. But the dogs are peeing everywhere so it looks pretty bad - which is pretty good.

Lol. You can do better than that Series.

Its okay Series; I still like you. Will you still be my friend?

I was looking quite earnestly at a couple of burtons and i've seen a few sanata cruzs but i'm not familiar with the others. The stores i go to only carry a select few. I prefer the small specialty shops. I've had nothing but good experiences with them in the past...

Know much about GNU? (The snowboardboard company you computer-obsessed geeks you.) I was looking at some models that were a few hundred cheaper then most of the others at the same level, yet they seem to be of equal or even superiour quality... There must be a hitch...

well lol once you learn to carve and do some kickers that wont be a problem anymore
Its not a problem anymore. I was reffering to when i started. And judging by my friends that started at the same time, i'm not alone. I recall some old skiing buddies that would mock all the snowboards who would shell out for a lift ticket and then apparently sit around on the slopes. I realize now that they weren't sitting around; They just hadnt gotten around to getting up again.
