Thread: MSN Messenger 7.5

I have been using MSN Messenger 7.0 with no problem. I just downloaded and installed MSN Messenger 7.5, and I am unable to sign in.

The error message I recieve cites the inability of Internet Explorer to connect, a problem that started long ago. I just didn't care, because I used FireFox anyway. I have reset the internet settings in IE, and the problem persists.

First of all, does anybody know how I can fix this? Second, if no one knows how to fix this, I'd like to downgrade to 7.0. Any ideas on getting the install program from 7.0?

I have no idea how to fix it, but you could try Gaim or MSN Web Messenger instead.

Thanks - I've tried GAIM before. Although I liked having everything in one place, there were a lot of features it didn't support so I stopped. But I'll have a look at Web Messenger.

As far as the original plan, I found a site hosting the original Version 7 beta, so if that isn't perfect, at least there's hope!
