    there.

    They shouldn't freeze pages -- that beats the whole purpose of wiki. They could put restrictions (for example over 500 previous edits to be able to change it) on the page instead.

    eh, I don't think there should even be any restrictions... for example, what if somebody at the top of their field wants to fix a mistake, but it's their first time visiting? are they now forced to go through hundreds of pages of things they don't know/care about to fix one little thing?

    like they even said, vandalism is caught within minutes... and how many page hits did they really get in that minute to be afraid for their integrity...?
