    Wikipedia CProgramming Entry?

I'm at work, rather bored and was surfing wikipedia, and I thought it would be kind of cool if we pooled together and made a wikipedia entry for CProgramming?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CProgramming

The space is open, and it could get a lot more people to come here (read: free advertising).

    Well... that was short lived.
The word rap as it applies to music is the result of a peculiar phonological rule which has stripped the word of its initial voiceless velar stop.

Seems a little pointless to have information about a website in an online dictionary -- unless it is a dead and gone website.

Lots of websites seem to have entries: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Websites
If someone wrote more than two sentences about cprogramming, the article would probably stay. I still don't see the point, though.

Maybe an entry under the C/C++ programming language pages would be better, since Cprog is one of the major C/C++ sites on the intarweb.

it seems safe if we don't try to make it an ad for the site... as in show some of the history, etc.

as stovellp said, cprogramming is a very popular website.
