    That used to happen to me, too!!!!! I'd usually be using MSVC++, and all of a sudden I'd try to tab and it'd switch windows!

    I seem to have the full array of computer issues

    Lightbulb

    Just had a revelation!

    My mouse isn't of the M$ variety, nor my keyboard. I wonder if M$ has something up their respective sleeves making me think that my keyboard and mousie and on crack.

    Perhaps wanting me to purchase M$ products.

    hmmmmm

    I have a Microsoft Internet Keyboard and a Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical and the problems go on. I've heard that Windows automatically and temporarilly puts the right mouse button in the left one when you are using it too much (about 3 or 4 straight times), to fix this (temporarilly, of course), you have to press the right-right button somewhere else and the problem is fixed (I told you, temorarilly).

    as for the tab, my keyboard one thought that the little Windows key was pressed, so if I pressed f, it opened the find window. If I pressed r, the Run dialog. E, the windows explorer, and so on.
    I took it to a priest and he told me that it was very serious, so I should take it to a bishop, and I haven't seen him yet (other strange things have happened, such as the nonwanted press of the email key, or that the Enter key gets stuck (very annoying), or even that the keyboard sends a pressed key about 5 times, and it once happened to me that the keyboard shut down!)

    Though I do like the Windows OS (Self-confessed traitor! ) quite a lot of their software and hardware seem a bit pants.

    I too was cursed with a MS Internet keyboard. As far as it was concerned the Ctrl key was totally non-existent as it would recognise not one of the shortcuts I so often utilise. It was thankfully replaced when I developed RSI with a split keyboard. I swear that MS one was cursed though I never considered nor thought of for that matter taking it to a priest for exorcism...I wionder why?

    IE did that evil font thing on me and I managed to solve the problem very easily....

    ...I stopped using IE and am now happily browsing with Netscape 6.2.

    :: sigh ::

    It's all part of Bill Gates plan for world domination, he's gonna turn us all brain dead with dodgy software and hardware, when we're all frothing at the mouth while we sit in front of our pc's, he's gonna transmit hypnotic message's through the internet which will instruct us to make him ruler of the world.
    I can feel it already, a tingling in the back of my head *dribbles on keyboard*.

    there is no escape from the M$ juggernaut.. you can try to run, but you can't hide.... they'll find you when you sleep, and they'll replace your brain with their own faulty products and you will be forced to defrag yourself every other day and restart twice a day... be afraid....................be very afraid.
