I'm a bit too busy with work (I switched to the dark side of java Muahahaha)
also, I'm planning to move, busy partying, etc.
not much time anymore for surfing the net ;)
but I'll stop by once in a while ;)
Oh yeah, STFU ober and axon :p
:D
STFU Maes :)
Damn, it feels good to be able to say that again.
Hmm I have a BS in ACMS(applied computational mathematical sciences) and I work as a programmer. Anyway, its good work, and math does come in handy while programming, as well as the logical side of programming :). Decent money too :)
In two days I am going on M$ 70-270 course.!
Well will I have it. We will know in two weeks.!
BS in Computer Science from Washington University.
Three certs: Sun certified java Programmer, Sun Certified Business Component Developer, and Sun certfied Web Component developer.
I work for a mid-sized customer and information management company based in Little Rock, Arkansas.
I make decent money. Above average for the industry in the area...basically because there isn't an industry. I feel like i could do better in another city, but I love where i work.
>I was wondering how well people were doing with those certs.
I have no certifications, the equivalent of an Associate's degree, and I make over $50k (though I won't say how much over). While it's possible to do well without certifications and such, it's better to stack the deck in your favor by getting them. I just got lucky.
