    Huh...tell me about it!!!!!

    I have posted stuff a month or so ago with exactly the same scenario.....

    Here's a good one from a fortnight ago....

    I had this organisation that we pay money to.......I looked at their situation and decided they werent to have any more for a while. Wrote a letter in English and paid to have it translated ( As I could tell they were the type of idiots to complain). They disagreed with me and asked for the basis of my decision. I sent out an excel sheet with a breakdown of thier postion and showed why I thought they should get no more cash. They then threatned to report me to the "Welsh Language Board" for not sending the spreadsheet in Welsh.......Every bloody cheque I had sent them in the past was in english and they didnt report me then!!!!!!!!

    Due to a law passed by the assembly here, all public organisations should communicate with the public in both Welsh as English.....even though;
    1. There are less than 20% who know the language

    2. Only a minute fraction of them cant speak English...if any!!

    3. There are so many regional dialects that a letter written by a lifelong welsh speaker is often incomprehensable to another with the same experience of the language.

    This country is a scream...trust me

    We too have our language problems. When you look at Belgium on a map, it is pretty small and yet we have 3 official languages(Dutch, French, German). And there is always rumble (don't know if this is the excact word) between the dutch part and the french part of Belgium. when I go to the french part, I speak French, but when most of the french speaking people come to the dutch part, they rarely(not all of them) speak dutch.when I go to a store in Brussels(capital), I expect to be able to speak in Dutch, but when to salesman try's to speak dutch but can't, I'll speak French. But I hate it if he doesn't even try and says he can't understand me. It is frustrating.

    edit:
    confusing story? sorry, but I can't explain it any better

    Static, I have a question. Are there really a lot of mormons in Utah?
    What will people say if they hear that I'm a Jesus freak?
    What will people do if they find that it's true?

    Devil and Engineer - please tell me you read the word "Mormon" wrong... It's not an insult, it's a religion...

    I'm from Michigan, home of the Lions, who MIGHT actually win a game this season if they can get refs to pull their heads out of their respective asses (seriously, in the game they lost to the Packers earlier this season, where the Lions had to score twice for the refs to give them any points, the head ref was the moron that messed up the toin coss a couple years ago, and one of the others was the one who damages a players eye socket bye throw a flag into his helmet)
