    Academic Advising

I'm planning out the remainder of my elective credits, and wanted the input of the board.

The final outcome I'm looking for is a good understanding of encryption, and game mathematics.

What are good math class titles that will provide additional insight into those topics?

    Mandated Classes:
    Calculus I
    Calculus II
    Discrete Mathematics
    Calculus III
    Introduction to Linear Algebra
    Probability and Statistics

So what above and beyond these would be good complimentary math classes?

    Thanks for your input.

    For cryptography:
    -- Information theory
    -- Algebra
-- Some specialized classes in the subject if possible (esp. on such topics as cryptanalysis, the basis of public-key crypto and elliptic curve crypto, etc)

when you say algebra do you mean any algebra like college algebra, or do you mean the more complex topics of algebra?
    Thanks for the response.

Have you tried talking to your professors about it?

i'm in the middle of transfering school to an engineering school.
I have been unable to see a professor yet.
I have been just looking at what they offer online.

Algebra as in Group Theory, Ring Theory, Field Theory, etc.

Here is an online book on the topic (I have not reviewed it, so I make no claim that it is a good book, only that it covers the topics I am referring to): http://www.math.uiuc.edu/~r-ash/Algebra.html

    Cheers
