I saw it last night...very good. They did an awsome job linking these to the older ones, very very well done.

Eh. It was better than the other two disasters-on-film. Lucas still can't write a love scene to save his life. Sometimes I felt like a monotone professor was reading the lines to me instead of professional actors actually trying to convey emotion.
If I did your homework for you, then you might pass your class without learning how to write a program like this. Then you might graduate and get your degree without learning how to write a program like this. You might become a professional programmer without knowing how to write a program like this. Someday you might work on a project with me without knowing how to write a program like this. Then I would have to do you serious bodily harm. - Jack Klein

I think I'm cutting out of work early to see this with my boss. The cynic in me knows it's going to suck, but the previews look so cool

Saw it last night, it was OK. Definately better than the first two in my opinion.

Speaking of Star Wars, I saw this the other day and thought it was pretty funny since my dad does the same thing:
    Code:
There's going to be an extra scene included in the DVD release
of EMPIRE STRIKES BACK coming up next year! Basically, it
expands on the scene where Vader reveals his fatherhood to
Luke, and ties up some loose ends created with the release of
    Episode 1 & 2...

The Empire Strikes Back: Extra-Special Edition

INT: BESPIN GANTRY - MOMENTS LATER:

A furious lightsaber duel is underway. DARTH VADER is backing
LUKE SKYWALKER towards the end of the gantry. A quick move by
Vader, chops off Luke's hand! It goes spinning off into the
ventilation shaft. Luke backs away. He looks around, but
realizes there's nowhere to go but straight down.

Darth Vader: Obi Wan never told you what happened to your
    father.

Luke: He told me enough! He told me you killed him!

Darth Vader: No... I am your father!

Luke: No, it's not true! It's impossible.

Darth Vader: Search your feelings... you know it to be true.

    Luke: NO!

Darth Vader: Yes, it is true, and you know what else? You
know that brass droid of yours?

    Luke: Threepio?

Darth Vader: Yes... Threepio... I built him... when I was
    7 years old...

    Luke: No...!

Darth Vader: Seven years old! And what have you done? Look at
yourself, no hand, no job, and couldn't even levitate your
own ship out of the swamp.

Luke: I destroyed your precious Death Star!

Darth Vader: When you were 20! When I was 10, I single-
handedly destroyed a Trade Federation Droid Control ship!

Luke: Well, it's not my fault...

Darth Vader: Oh, here we go... "Poor me... my father never
gave me what I wanted for my birthday... boo hoo, my daddy's
the Dark Lord of the Sith...waahhh wahhh!"

    Luke: Shut up...

Darth Vader: You're a slacker! By the time I was your age, I
    had exterminated the Jedi knights!

Luke: I used to race my T-16 through Beggar's Canyon.

Darth Vader: Oh, for the love of the Emperor... 10 years old,
winner of the Boonta Eve Open... Only human to ever fly a Pod
    Racer... right here, baby!

    {Luke looks down the shaft. Takes a step towards it.}

Darth Vader: I was wrong... You're not my kid... I don't know
whose son you are, but you sure ain't mine...

{Luke takes a step off the platform, hesitates, then plunges
    down the shaft.}

    {Darth Vader looks after him.}

    Darth Vader: Get a haircut!

I thought the story was alright. The acting was pretty bad, though.
The word rap as it applies to music is the result of a peculiar phonological rule which has stripped the word of its initial voiceless velar stop.

Saw this tonight. I hope George Lucas gets hit by a train.

    Special effects: Awesome
    Fight scenes: Awesome
Dilagoue: Oh my god kill me now
Loose ends tied up: Seriously, shoot me in the face.

I haven't had a movie actually make me angry in a long time, but this did (and not just because some kid in front of me couldn't find his family and kept walking in front of me)

What? You mean the sheer mediocrity didn't inspire you?

You know this is a really unoriginal story and everything, but if it was put in the hands of a halfway competent director or writer, it would have been great. All the people in the movie can act. I've seen it before, I swear to god. They just can't act under Lucas's direction, and his horrible script makes it worse.

George Lucas should direct music videos.

I saw Episode III on wednesday evening and I liked it. Really, it has good graphics and fight scenes. The plot ? Well, how good can a plot be if it's part 3 of 6 and you already know all other parts ?

    I liked that movie.

( Don't tell anyone, but I'm known as the guy who actually thought that Spiderman II was a good movie. No one cares about my opinion on movies I've watched since I said that )

I didn't see it, but I heard Spiderman 2 was really good. I liked the first one a lot.
