I work for a medium sized company in a department other than information technology. The company has signed a multi-million contract for a program upgrade that is apparently built on an database written in M/MUMPS and uses a VB front-end. I'm disappointed that it didn't use C/C++ instead of VB, even if I only dabble in this for fun. Drat! Oh well. Guess it'll pay to learn some VB now and maybe even investigate M/MUMPS a bit. Any recommendations on how to proceed other than combing the internet (which I've already started) would be appreciated.
