His ambition is "I am so great that eventually things will just happen"? OK.

Setting goals and looking at things positively is certainly not a bad thing, but just expecting stuff to happen because you're "gifted" is retarded and will get you nowhere.

Sorry if it came off the wrong way. I don't expect anything to happen for anybody if they don't work at it. I was just trying to say that I wouldn't doubt that he's gifted so I'd bet things should be fairly easy for him as long as he applies him self and drives himself with a little bit of confidence.

With "guy x being more talented than guy y" well, we'll never know unless everybody applies themselves as best as they can.
