The 'bag' empties without letting in air (so can be placed any side up).
Can pull out the bag and get rid of the box.

    >>In fact, when you've finished with them you can make great footballs out of them by blowing them up

We used to play 'goon roulette' (a drunk variation of Russian R)

Drink the goon (4-5L as the bags are square)
    Fill it up with water.
Four people lie down, one per side, heads within 30cm of the edge of the bag.
Then burst the bag by jumping on it.
The bag bursts down one seam and someone gets very wet.
    (Drunken) laughter ensues.

Trick is the sides next to the spout have a different strength and are njsd likely to burst....

EDIT: 'goon' is slang from flagon/flagoon and refers to a large container for wine (or woobla = cheap wine, because thats te sound you make after you've drunk it)

I can't figure out how that would look/work.

Would a birds eye view look like this: (where [*] is the 'goon' (I hate that word) bag)

Edit: I tried to use ASCII to draw it but the stupid spacing kept stuffing up. Please explain more.

    Code:
              |
              |
              +
       ----+ * +----
              +
              |
              |
    I'd imagine something like that

Yep, like a cross with the bag in the center.

The 'goons' here have a rubber tap that can be removed/replaced (for easy filling with water).
2L ones tend to be rectangular so need the big ones (plus there are always more willing players once you have drunk all that wine).

So a drunk guy is jumping up and down a foot away from your head, and you're worried about the water?
