    One of the priests the news stations was talking to said something that really made sense. The reason he appeared intolerant is because that was his job. His job was to protect the doctorine of faith not to question it or try to change it.
    And another one that actually worked with him said he was quite willing to listen and see the other's side view.

    They should have picked the Australian. Then everyone would convert to christianity.

    Go lookup what Catholic means. Also I do believe tolerance was one of Jebus' teachings

    I don't think so, Jesus may have taught tolerance in some settings, but he is very untolerant about heaven. His message was simple.
    Code:
    if (confessed_with_mouth == true && believe_in_heart == true)
         goto heaven;
    else
         goto hell;
    EDIT
    Go lookup what Catholic means
    true, Catholic basically means "universal"

    They actually explained why during the coverage today. Basically in the beginning they just used their real name. Then there came a Pope that had the name of Mercury and to avoid having the same name as a Roman god he took another name. Since then they've taken another name.

    BTW not funny on the molestation thing.

    Oh hey, good post. Thanks for adding to the level of discourse

    > but he is very untolerant about heaven. His message was simple

    Isn't that more of the Protestant way of looking at things?
