    Ehsiq: I like that idea, perhaps a boardwide championship could be help here on a temporary tournament board, each game being its own thread. It would take longer, but it would be in the spirit of stoned_coder's original response.

    Suprisely there's a actual chess spin-off where you can do that.
    One of the rules is force capture, play continues until all the pieces are off the board for one side. The side with no pieces wins.
