    Cool Asm Book which one??

    Yo,

    Can someone tell me a decent book for assembly. I need a book that starts from the basics (as i have little asm experice) and continues to fairly advanced stuff. Also a book that i can get hold of off amazon of somthing.

    "Assembly Language Step-By-Step" and I forget who writes it...I posted the title and author a while back (on the new board) so maybe go back to the first or second page and look for a thread called "Counting in martian! (or reccomendation for an ASM book...)"

    Jeff Dunteman, or something like that. 2nd edition. The only
    book a beginner needs (so they say).

    'Art of Assembly' by Randall Hyde is probably the best and the most exhaustive source for learning assembly language. Do a simple search on google to find out. The book in is pdf and html version.
    Also exagon has written excellent tuts. Just search for Exagon's tuts on google.

    I had to get linux assembly language programming and Principles of Computer Architecture for school.
