Thread: AirSoft 2

Well my AirSoft collection has now expanded to include the Pistol Grip shotgun I was looking at last time, an M-16 A2, MP5 SD3, and a 1911 .45. To round out the set I'm looking at doing a sniper rifle.

I'd be buying that rifle with the scope ring shown on the right (top), and outiftting it with the scope immediately below.

I found all the stuff regarding compatibility and different mounts very confusing. Does anybody know if this package would include everything I need to actually mount the scope onto the rifle? The rings look like they need a weaver rail, but the information page says very sepcifically it's compatible with the Super 9. If you have any other advice, I'm open to that also.

It's been pretty fun. We know a guy who lives out in the country with tonnes of land, and the terrain is perfect for war games. It's got a couple of sheds on opposite ends of the battlefield, and the layout really lends itself to fun scenarios, like a downed-pilot kind of thing and stuff. If we really get into it we'll pull out proper attire (we've managed to collect some handy uniforms - Armed Forces surplus, a couple of South African police uniforms, good stuff). So far, no problems with neighbors calling the police and telling them the boys next door bought illegal assault rifles, but my photography teacher wanted to know what was going on...

I played AS once or twice, i was always much more into paintball. Course i sold a 400.00 Tippmann setup for 200.00 when i wanted cash for my Stealth.....love my car : )

Paintball I think is more fun, but we've gone with AS because we really like the realistic replicas, and the cheapness. I emailed them, and as it turns out, all you need is the rifle, ring set, and scope.
