    4.24 MB in attachments uploaded

Just wondering about attachments on the board. Do we have a limit as to how much we can attach? And am I clogging the board with this stuff or what. If the posts are buried so deep that no one will ever see them again....perhaps I ought to remove some of the attachments.

    EDIT:
You are currently using 4.38 MB to store 124 uploaded attachments.
A lot of these are on the game programming board. Any new person who comes in asking about matrices, 3D math, sound, lighting, rendering, Direct3D, transformations, etc, etc. and says they cannot find anything on the board about them is simply lying or lazy

There is a lot of source code in those attachments and several others have also posted a great deal of source.

In general we shouldn't have to worry about stuff like that. Also, you specifically have posted stuff that is either useful or at least interesting. I think your stuff should be left on the cprog server (besides it's not like every member has uploaded that much stuff).
    See you in 13

I think bandwidth is more of a concern than storage space. If the threads are buried deep not many will request them. I remember the 'post your desktop'-threads. They probably required quite a lot of bandwidth.

I wonder who has uploaded the most to this board. You're probably among them. I've uploaded 1.63 MB.

I probably wouldn't worry about it... if you need some room, start deleteing some of the old stuff, that's all... on the other vB boards I've been to, there's been some kind of throttle on the amount of space you have to upload to, either as a community or, more commonly, as an individual.

I've got 2.39 MB of attachements. Mostly pictures and things and the occasional zip file, nothing incredibly huge though....I'll echo what Darkness said though in that I doubt it's that big of a deal.

I'm not asking how to delete them RoD. I'm asking if it clogs the board or if there is a limit.
