    Any Musicians?

    Hey Guys,

Are there any musicians at cprog? I know taylorguitarman plays guitar and DA does some beatboxing, but anyone else play anything? I heard there was some software that would do simultainious recording over the internet, anyone know if this is true?

What music are you guys into? Right now im into punk/metal/grunge and alternative.

some songs im into right now simply for their coolness...
    1. POD - alive
    2. LinKin Park - I forget the name (Track 7)
    3. The rolling stones - their new song, anyone know the name?
    4. The Black Crowes - Remedy
    5. No Use For A Name - Turning Japanese
    6. The Misfits - Dig up her bones

What's a matter you no like peppi?

it's vocal percussionism... it can simulate [quite accurately] drums/bass... and a lot of other weird effects too... it takes a lot of practice...

i also play guitar, jazz and blues mostly, for many a year...

i'm brushing up on my ear training and theory right about now... so, yeah... i can do a bit of piano, but i don't have the complete dexterity for it... [but i know the theory so that's a great help...]... i also can do bass and other fretted stringed instruments... [non fretted too... so long as it's strummed/picked... not bowed...]... any other questions ask! i love music and sharing music!

I play guitar, synths and (not so much now) flute.

I love progressive rock, heavy rock and a bit of metal and some somewhat peculiar electonic music.

Not many people appear to have heard of some of my favourite bands strangely enough...
Asia, Arena, Angra, Marillion (All time favourite band! I'm going to see 'em tomorrow! YAY!!), Dream Theater, Shadow Gallery, Jadis, Pendragon (not me!), Yes, Rush, Rick Wakeman, Incubus, ELP, Pink Floyd, Meat Loaf, IQ, Fish, Heart, King Crimson, Spocks Beard, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, The Flower Kings, Linkin Park, Saga, Bonnie Tyler, Bon Jovi, Shania Twain (at a stretch), The Corrs, Enya (if I'm in a thoughtful mood), Michael Nyman, QUEEN, Genesis, Marilyn Manson ( some of his less sickening works, granted there aren't that many), Michael Jackson (hmm...), Guns n Roses, Metallica, Nickelback, Blink 182, Goldfinger, Green Day, Deep Purple, Jean Michel Jarre, Journey, Spunge and The Who.

Keyboards mostly, but I flirt with flutes and sax, (and other "woodwind").

I sing and play the piano. Almost made All-State for the past 2 years, but not quite...me and my friends like to learn and perform pop songs like Boyz II Men, NSync, etc.
