    Oxymoron

Stumbled upon this when I was searching for a direct link to Microsoft's helpdesk:

Am I the only one who thinks that Microsoft bashing is incredibly cliche? I mean, how many times can everyone repeat the same stale old jokes without getting sick?

No, you're not. I've chastised a few people for jumping on the "hate Microsoft" bandwagon. I can see the advantages of *nix over Windows, but really, newbies get so stupid about it sometimes.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of Miscrosoft, but those are rehashes of rehashed jokes. The only good one I've seen (despite the fact that it's old) is this: http://www.geocities.com/rcwoolley/
The word rap as it applies to music is the result of a peculiar phonological rule which has stripped the word of its initial voiceless velar stop.

Considering the fact that every OS now trys to have "windows" imagine if the idea of windows wasnt introduced? What would PC's use now, maybe someone would have thought of "doors" and then we would have a OS called Doors, and still everyone would be bashing Doors and saying that Doors OS sucks.

    20 years after.....

Someone so mad at the Doors OS, thinks something new and he calls it Windows!
Now knowing that something like that did not happen, are you all not glad that you didnt waste 20 years using Doors?

I'm not sure how to answer that.

but still, nomatter how old it gets, there is still a scale of funniness. I don't think a lot of these jokes are published or said by people really diskliking microsoft, but just rather because it's fun to make jokes about things we're all familiar with.

I got a smile out of it felix

I dont hate Microsoft. I prefer to use Windows because it is just nicer to look at and easier to control, plus there is just so much support for drivers. However I don't like any other Microsoft products.
