OK guys, like stated in the other thread which I hijacked (sorry to the op), I'm thinking about getting a tournament together on yahoo chess.
I want this thread to serve the purpose of establishing a time date and game type as well as other logistical things.
I think that the best date and time for this would be a weekday in the evening - by weekday I mean Monday through Thursday- and by evening I would say 5pm and later central. The soonest I could actually do this would be in two weeks, so first full week of March.
I also think that yahoo chess would be the best place to host it as it is free, easy to use, and most of us already have yahoo id's.
If you are interested taking a part in this tourney please specify so in your reply. Also, add any suggestions you might have about time, place, or whatever else. The place has to be free and easily accessible with the ability of creating private rooms and a rating system.
