Thread: Moderator Elections - VOTING 2

    Heh,

I agree, axon. I've been a bit hard on myself lately. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Segmentation Fault: I am an error in which a running program attempts to access memory not allocated to it and core dumps with a segmentation violation error. This is often caused by improper usage of pointers, attempts to access a non-existent or read-only physical memory address, re-use of memory if freed within the same scope, de-referencing a null pointer, or (in C) inadvertently using a non-pointer variable as a pointer.

2 days ago, February 14, 2005 - a date which will live in infamy - the cboard forum was suddenly and deliberately attacked by Thantos and Mackrory forces of the opposition.

As the representative and elected person of the 3rd party, I would like to offer a moderate position in the standings. On one hand, if you vote for Thantos, you are voting for genocide. However, a vote for Mackrory will only lead to a massacrist dictatorship.

"Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory and our interests are in grave danger."

As the Mackrory party stated, I quote:
"If you vote for me, all of your wildest dreams will come true!"
This statement is outrageous. How could one person possibly guarantee everyone's wildest dreams coming true? It is purely a statement of falsity, and thus shows the extremist viewpoint of the Mackrory party.

I stand here before you as the representative for those who want to live free from the obvious exteremist viewpoints of each party's followers. Even with my currently weak standings, I believe you will all make the right choice in this decision over the well being of cboard.

    Not a bad idea.

I actually considered voting for Thantos. That way, if anything went wrong I could step back from the table and say, "Hey don't blame me! I voted for the other guy!"

I ended my own reign of death. I love peaceful ends to death.

Hahah, nice. I wasn't the one posting about the WMD though - way to take things out of context

PS I've said way worse things than that on Slashdot.

A man with only 1 brain cell is obviously inferior to someone with as many green squares as me.
Ah, but you see, it is quality that counts, not quantity.

The Poll's title is: "Select your choice for moderator" not "Debate a choice for moderator".
Well, why cant the poll be for selection, and the thread that comes with it be for debate?

Now, now, that's a case of no confidence in oneself.
More reason why one should vote for Thantos

"Finding the smallest program that demonstrates the error" is a powerful debugging tool.

Thantos invented the internet! how can you not vote for somebody who built the very platform we all met on?!

I was going to vote for Hunter2, but after voting for Thantos, I felt it would have been a lost cause anyway seeing how (unfairly) far behind he was...

Kidding aside, any of the candidates would make great mods; they're all great people.

Can't be any worse than me
