Well, way back when i was in highschool, I was in the schools gifted and talented program, so all i had to do was take test scores, from the tests that i took to get into the GT classes, and they were accepted.

I did the test about 7 yrs ago .. having started playing with one of the adverts they had in the sundays papers...

    - unfortunatly, although the first tests showed an IQ of 148, the actual exam showed an IQ of 139% -- so I am only an also ran .. equal to the top 5% in the country -

Mensa membership is only for the top 2% of the country - Im not bitter ;-)

well, this was my first post .. I hope I will enjoy my time here!
    :-)

    Speaking of IQ...

How the heck do you answer questions like these:

    1. Sally likes 225 but not 224; she likes 900 but
not 800; she likes 144 but not 145. Which does she
    like:

    A) 1600 B) 1700

I've seen them in a couple of different places,
and I just can't seem to understand them...

    The answer is 1600.
    reason
    she likes square numbers!

yes, I know it is not the right answer, but note that:

    like 225, 2+2+5=9
    don't like 224, 2+2+4=8
    like 900, 9+0+0=9
    don't like 800, 8+0+0=8
    like 144, 1+4+4=9
    don't like 145, 1+4+5=10

    q1, 1600, 1+6+0+0=7
    q2, 1700, 1+7+0+0=8

she don't likes numbers whose 'guarismos' sum is 8, so she likes 1600, not 1700.

Edit: Where do non-students take IQ tests at?
