In class sometimes I move the desks around and place large yellow circles all over in a pattern and then proceed to run around and collect all of the yellow circles before my teacher can catch me....

and all this time I'm going "wokka wokka wokka"

    > Everytime I'm outdoors and hear a loud high pitched noise, I flip out thinking a cliff racer is attacking me.

The new game better have a quest where you hunt cliff racers to extinction. Stupid freaking cliff racers

  5. #20
Haha, I hate cliff racers too. There was even a mod people downloaded to remove all of them from the game.
Luckily with my Ebony staff, I can shoot 400 poison balls ( -90% poison resist, 88 poison damage ), so they arenīt a problem anymore

And, according to behaviorism, the more you play space shooters for two hours and then go play with your helicopter, the less your front visor will be attacked. On the other hand you probably will install laser guns on it and shoot people, but you need real weak social skills to do that.

The character I beat the game with could easily outrun them, so I didn't think they were a problem either

edit: God what a great game

I found a mod that did exactly that. It was BY FAR the most rewarding quest I accomplished in the game

That's not the same mod dead tree's talking about, is it? It seems like it'd be a lot more rewarding to kill them off than just remove them.

No, it was an actual quest that took a couple of hours to complete, involved killing a whole bunch of them, and at the end you took on a super cliff racer. But when done they all disappeared. I don't remember the name of the mod, its been almost a year since I've played, I'll see if I can figure it out.

I just modded their aggro ratings so they stopped attacking me. They're pretty when they stay the hell away.

I think its shadow chasing me with a siren
You think it's funny now but how about I put you in the barrel of the T-135?

Yeah that's right, a 6 foot man can easily fit in the horn. 135dB @ 100 feet on axis, much louder at point blank range. Can you say popping blood vessels? Or maybe the Chrysler? 138dB @ 100' -- 1kw power? Want to feel what's it like to be microwaved?

You're right, this siren thing is hilarious!

Yeah, you often don't realize just how big these things are when up on the poles. They do, after all use rotors, motors, projector horns, deflector plates and all sorts of engineering specifics to create over 100dB of sound outside unconfined.

    http://www.wisconsinsirens.com/pics/La%20Crosse%201.jpg The Thunderbolt siren on a pole. 127dB @ 100 feet.

http://datadrops.com/temp/tbolt2.jpg The same siren size comparison.

    http://www.wisconsinsirens.com/pics/Endeavor%201.jpg Workhorse Model 5 siren. 105dB @ 100 feet.
    http://longislandfirealarm.com/humanmodel5.jpg Size comparison.

(get videos and sounds at my siren site)

Now you know why they move these things around with cranes.
