    Right, but embed objects stick annoying, ugly (and inconsistant) music player windows onto the site, which takes up a lot more room than the small corner that I've allocated for the musicbox. Also, the BGSOUND tag allows you to modify the volume, which I really like.

    If you're still interested in flash music, you could get some cool loops from:
    FlashKit.com
    And a open source flash player here:
    Editable Flash Player
    Then all you would need to do is get someone with FlashMX, open the .fla file (Flash document), and then right-click on the already running mp3, and change it to any mp3 you want! It's not as hard as you think! It'll be fun :), a good experience.

    *psst.. the point was, I wanted to know if Thantos has objections to EVERY shape and form of embedded sound on websites, even when stopped by default (and therefore not necessarily annoying, from my point of view).

    music/sound (any way shape or form) on websites is stupid/bad design (no matter what, PERIOD)

    It takes no parameters. If you really want music, make it a link and let them use their own player...
