First of all, I would like to say that I am a firm supporter of cloning as well as stem cell research. Part of this may be because I am an atheist, but anyway, I don't really see why it is unethical. First of all, this will almost inevitably save more lives than it kills in the process. Second of all, I believe that with enough research, we may be able to live for thosands of years (because with the stem cells we can replicate our own organs that we can replace when we get old). And who determines what is ethical and what is not? If we ban all that is unethical, we will be lving in a cencored society (such as Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World, all those types of books...). Why are people so defensive about and opposed to this whole issue of cloning?
