    Wild weather.

Wow. It's wild outside at the moment. The police have issued warning not to go out. Before I saw that, my beloved wife said she needed potatoes, so I walked to the local shop.

Man, 46ms wind at the moment and building, (102 mph for those quaint enough to use them). Walking at 45degrees, dodging the flying branches, and more excitingly, the downed electrical cables which were arcing splendidly.

Just before I got to the station, a 100+ year old beech tree decided to take have a lie down and just fell, no more then 30m from me!

    Several dead now.

All the big bridges are shut, Copenhagen airport is closed, the trains have no power, tracts of the motorway network are closed.

The guy in the centre of Copenhagen on the news is wearing a hard hat and has fallen over twice during the 2min broadcast.
Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity unto the dream.

Hurricane - An intense tropical weather system with a well-defined circulation and maximum sustained winds of 74 mph (64 knots) or higher. Hurricanes are called "typhoons" in the western Pacific, while similar storms in the Indian Ocean are called "cyclones."
I think you missed out on the tropical part, but you've certainly got the wind.

I remember when something like that happened in Oregon, probably not as bad as you guys have it (lol), but at least you had a good reason to leave the house (potatoes), I had to stay inside and listen to the falling trees

I wish we have another wind storm soon, right after a flood too! And then I want to ride my bike around town! lol

We have real wild weather here (VA) as well. At first it was all wet, overcast no wind, and it was about 45 degrees F. Suddenly it's 65 degrees F, extremely sunny, 50mph winds, and no wetness to be found.
Boy you stink, go take a shower before you continue to code. Better do your laundry and spray your chair too.

The one and only resource for finding information.

    Next version of windows released!!!!

That's like the most perfect time you could ever have a wind storm. Especially if it's in the middle of fall and leafs falling everywhere. I'd love to be in kind of environment!
