    Instant Message Contacts

I’m starting this thread in the hopes that it will widen our communications beyond the forums. Many of us already talk through programs such as AIM, but many of us do not.

My addy has been posted several times in the past, along with others, but never in a single, accessible area. So for those of us who don’t mind speaking with or helping members via instant messages this gives us a place to make our user names public.

Obviously there are those of us who enjoy our downtime and don’t wish to post this information. And, like those who don’t post the information, those of us who provide our screen names also need to be respected. Meaning if we say we are unable to help at the moment, that be the end of it. There have been times I have stated this and people just keep right on going.

That being said, please be courteous to those who offer their time and remember that the use of foul language or other questionable conversation may offend some members. Please post the information using the format below.

Heh. I should smack you! ::waves fist::

At any rate, a lot of people's contacts are on their respective profile. Particularly if people need help in a specific topic in continuation of a thread as well. So... yeah, but I suppose people are free to give their contacts here as well. Also, tho it's been some time since I remember the last time we did this, an old list may be found.

While it is in some profiles, certain browsers will give you difficulty, i know mine does with some forums. Searching for a user to find his/her profile is also time consuming. While i realize there are other methods, a master list seems like a very nice idea.
