Thread: Need some quick help w/ words

one of them questions.

they are probably looking for an answer that shows your ability to remain calm and rational during "stressful situations."

i would explain how i have the ability to remain calm and that through my continued calmness the customer would begin to mirror my attitude so that the situation can be resolved amicably.

Something along the lines of:

"I would approach the person calmly in a nonconfrontational posture wearing a smile on my face. While I was discussing what was bothering him I would casually lead him to a less crowded area of the mall such as the entrance to the restrooms or an empty corner. If the person failed to calm down or if I was unable to handle the situation I would descretely call for backup"

Just a quick thought though.

It would depend on what they're yelling, but I would attempt to calmly assure them that I understand how they feel and know exactly what they're going through. I'd let them know that I will help them rectify the situation and do whatever it takes to provide a false sense of security that will lower his/her tone. Of course once I have them in the back room I'm going to perform an elbow drop from the top turnbuckle.
