    New Year

So now that Christmas is over I was wondering what everyone's plans were for New Year's Eve? Also anyone have resolutions?
I know I am planning on getting drunk with my wife at home.

My church is having a dance... Maybe someone will spike the punch with Mountain Dew and things could get interesting...

On New Year's Day we usually watch the Rose Parade, but that's about it.

In 16 Months. DavidP used to be a regular here, he left a couple of months ago and is currently serving in Italy. When he gets back, I will have just gone.

Well I don't know. You put in your papers and then they write back and tell you where you're going. I'd laugh if we get sent to the same area though!

Well, lets see 16 months.... I think I'll be in S.C. then. If that's where your going look me up

RoD: Good plan. A friend of mine recently woke up in a stranger's apartment after a party!!! (btw, the stranger was not at the party, evidently my friend just walked into his apartment and crashed in the empty bedroom!!!)

Getting drunk/watching movies with my GF, neighbor, and her BF and brother.

Optionally, getting very quietly trashed with the neighbor's bro later on and talking about literature and philosophy until we both pass out.

Trashed, where I come from, refers to a degree of intoxication, not a mode of behaviour.

In other words, if this actually happens, we'll just sit around getting more and more philosophical, because we're both very quiet drunks.

If your 'getting trashed' involves acting out your inebriation in a highly exhibitionistic manner, then you're prolly right. I've been there, done that, and didn't like it.
