3 Gmail Invites to hand out

Just post your email address on this thread (or email me at [email protected], with your email address. If you do this please also post a message on this thread so people can count how many Invites are gone). The first three posters will get one.

Just out of curiosity, does anybody still care about Gmail except the people trying to give out invitations?

I'm a big fan of it, but I already have an account and 6 invites to give out (I've already given out just about as many). I think if you haven't managed to get an account by now you must not be that interested.

edit: and I'm not at all worried about trying to get rid of my invites...

Honestly... I don't think so. I've been trying to give these out for ages.
    Nobody wants them really.

I've been using gmail for some time now but I'm not happy at all. Its still confusing to me and sometimes it is very slow. I've been using yahoo accounts (as my main email) for over 6 years now. I found yahoo email accounts very reliable and I'm very satisfied with those

P.S. Did I mention that I hate my hotmail accounts. Those are totally rubbish

What's wrong with hotmail? I use it as my primary address and get maybe 2 spam e-mails a day.

pop-ups, spam from hotmail, no good search features, it's ugly, it attaches hotmail spam to your sig, you don't get 1gb of space and the interface flows a lot worse than gmail it seems.

I just pipe everything from my hotmail account to Outlook. That way I can use my hotmail account and my real email account from the same interface with as little hassle as possible. With intelligent rulesets for the spam filter, all of your complaints are moot except for the 1GB of space. But IIRC, hotmail gives you 256MB, which really is more than enough unless you're using it as a sink for floods.

What is stopping people from making 6 fake accounts with say hotmail, and then inviting them all so they have 7 gmail accounts? Then use those 7 to get another 40 or so?
    To code is divine

Does gmail work with Opera yet? Until it does, I'm not using it.

unfortunately, it doesnt. the only browser that it seems to support well is FF. i tried getting into gmail from IE yesterday at a friends house, and it hung twice and i had to hit refresh to get the page loaded. never happened in FF.
well, they started supporting Safari, so i'd hope Opera support would not be far behind.

BTW, i'm just wondering, what's so confusing about gmail's UI, i love the way it works. and now with pop3 support, you dont even need to use it. But i still use the web UI form time to time because the conversaion feature is a lifesaver for mailing list subscriptions.

I am using opera version 7.60 and I use gmail all the time. Yeah every 2 weeks you get that "your browser isn't supported" bs just click the "log in anyways" and you'll be good. Just make sure your quick preferences is setup to identify as opera.
