switch left/right speakers

is there a program or something out there in which i can swap whcih speakers your computer sends audio too (so the sound that is supposed to go into the left ear goes to the right earand the right to the left)

i have speakers that are normal but my headphones are backwards (i had to resolder them because i ripped the wire and i put the left/right backwards and when i put them on my head backwards it feels ackward)

so what im looking for is a way to reverse the speakers and then be able to un-reverse them for when i am using my speakers and not headphones

I'm gonna laugh when it turns out that these headphones aren't shaped for a specific ear. Can you not just switch ears? Or redo your solder job?

its not that their shaped specificly its hard to explain, like they dont make a solid circular shape, one side of the earfone is more straight then the other, which apparently makes them more comfertable (or less comfertable if your wearing them backwards)

i hope idont have to resolder this just to fix such a stupid mistake

because it makes a world of sense to spend time switching them back and forth all the time as opposed to taking 5 minutes and fixing your screw up.

Ehh haha, what you could do is perhaps buy a switch that reverses the channels for you. Or... if you can't find one, you'll have to soldier one yourself, which defeats the purpose of not wanting to soldier... hm... tricky... but a switch that does that sort of thing can be a handy thing to have!

no it would probally take much longer was quite difficult to solder, what happened is where the wire splits to go to both speakers one of them got yanked, i had to take apart the little plastic thing where they spit, and then to keep the wires from touching eachothr i bassicaly put this big lump of hot glue to encase it, id have to melt off the hotglue and mess.

should of tested them before putting on the hotglue.

The smart solderer uses electrial tape for these kinda situations. Look into flux for soldering it makes life alot easier, also hot glue for insulating not very bright

Nearly every program that uses audio has an option to reverse channels somewhere in the options. I know that nearly every game does as well as MP3 players, WAV players, etc. Even in Windows you can switch the channels from the mixer.

i decided to use hot glue so when the wire gets tugged on it wont put pressur eont the wire itself but on the glue. when soldering the wires back i noticed how thin and flimsy they were.

yeh too bad i cant type worth a I am sillyI am sillyI am sillyI am silly. i get more compiler errors than anyone i know ...

it wasnt os much that i wanted ot fix them, its that i didnt wanna spend more money ona new pair, this is a realy nice set of headphones, cost 45 or something like that, quality of the sound was really worth it, Sometimes i prefer plugging in my headphones just cause they sound nicer than my speakers

There's Gorilla Snot (hot glue) eveywhere.
