My only fears about Gentoo is have a hard time to configure XOrg (or be unable to do it) and have my network not auto-recognized (so I can't emeger anything).Originally Posted by mix0matt

you probably won't have to worry about either. Most mainstream graphics and network cards are supported during the install.
the other great thing about gentoo is the excellent documentation. anybody can install it if they take the time to follow the instructions. you shouldn't have any major problems.
THIS IS NOT JUST A CHRONICLING OF THINGS WE HAVE DONE IN THE PAST BUT OUR RISE TO POWER.
i agree, the documentation is exellent, Gentoo people did a great job making it. Step by step and easy.
