    suggestions

    i was wondering, just how do you get a programming job? every listing i've seen requires at least 2 years of experience...i have none...any suggestions?
    i seem to have GCC 3.3.4
    But how do i start it?
    I dont have a menu for it or anything.

    Interning, or getting into another job for another reason and somehow doing some programming there. Other than that, setup your own business and prove yourself out for a year or so.

    If your qualified, apply for the job anyway. Having sample code from personal projects can help too, depends of the type of position.

    In reality? Networking and dishonesty. Know the right people and lie to make yourself look better, then when you have the interview you can wow them with your command of the art.
    My best code is written with the delete key.
