where do you post projects to show them off?

I want to post an executable in the upcoming couple of months of a rigid body physics program, that deals with forces and torques and friction in 3D. It's not a 'game', and there is no physics forum, or a forum that is specifically designed for posting personal projects.

Post in here or in the C/C++ forum, depending on where you think it should go.

3d rendering topics are combines with the game forum. Just post it in there.

are either of you moderators? I dont care really where it goes, but I'd prefer to have the most views possible in order to get ample feedback (this is something I've been working hard on).

It's not a 3D rendering project, it's still a physics project, and yes there are some basic 3D graphics, but it's only to show a human what is going on with the calculations

    edit
erm yeah the point is that game forum doesn't get a ton of visitors so i would prefer not to put it there

I am, and RoD's been around long enough to know how the board works. Don't worry.

You'll get the most views either here or in the C Board.

...but if you want constructive feedback I'd post it in the game programming forum.

And simply posting a executable is not going to be the best way to get people to look at it. There is too much malicious code around for people to download and run an exe from unknown sources.

i will post the whole sha-bang, including the exe, screenshots, and the code so people can compile it if they do not feel comfortable just downloading the executable

another thing about executables is that I can never freaking see them. So the code is always appreciated.

I still have a lot of work to do, and I'm...having trouble with the whole, you know, doing well in the organized education aspect of my life. Plus, the professor I want to present it (and the equations) to isn't ready for it until December, so that's what I'm shooting for.
