Why isn't there the option "I don't know"? For all agnostics?
They say that if you play a Windows Install CD backwords, you hear satanic messages. That's nothing; play it forward and it installs Windows.

Example: I'm at a church camp several years ago. A preacher (in his 30's, good health) gives a very anti-cultish/spelling out of certain demonic symbols sermon on a Friday nite. Saturday he comes to speak to the teens. During his sermon to us, he starts screaming for help and convulsing. He ends up having an anyurism. He is mostly recovered today (5 years after the incident) and they consider it a miracle he even survived.

Coincidence? I tend to think not.

Why is your first reaction to chalk it up to paranormal activity? Seems more likely to me that he got all worked up during the sermon and blew a fuse.

Just because your preferred explanation for it isn't scientific doesn't mean that there isn't a scientific explanation for it.

I believe that believing in anything is immature, although you must always make choices and be responsable for them.
    So I voted for agnostic.

Uh, also, you know how we say "I went to the place, but I did not see him".
Actually the proper way would be "I saw chairs, trees, an old lady...". But you did not "not saw him", that is just a way us humans can relate to things.
A dog canīt have the idea of void, and thus for it, itīs more plausible to believe that the world always existed without the need of something to create it.
So maybe itīs our human minds that lead us to believe in a property ( the void ) that cannot be found anywhere, and that it was there before god had to create everything.
Wheter that is a problem or a part of god in us that can make us understand the truth, I donīt know

Oh come on...so lecturing of demonic symbols brought about some sort of "paranormal" intervention by way of a brain anyurism?!?!

If that's the case then my heathen views should have had me struck down.....years...ago..............Gah!!!!! My Brain!!! Agh!!!!!

edit: To clarify, I'm of the opinion that since pretty much all scientific evidence points away from the existence of some supernatural being, there probably isn't one. Also, the arguments made by most people choosing to try and discredit things like evolution either willfully twist research, show no understanding of the theories, or simply make things up. Willful ignorance is not something I can take lightly.

edit: to clarify, science now days when it comes to beginnings is totally bullI am sillyI am sillyI am sillyI am silly any way you look at it, everybody bend it to fit their "ideals" and if they dont fit, discard or set aside and ignore... the evidence points one direction one day and another the other, its NOTHING BUT SPECULATION AND THEORIES THAT CANNOT BE PROVEN, END OF STORY...

You don't really have a good grasp on what science is, do you? Using your logic, nothing can be proven.

In a purely cosmetic way, yes, but that's simplifying things quite a bit. Anyone who voted agnostic in the thread can tell you that.

well using any logic our beginnings cant be proven for just that reason...

i mean i look at evolution and i can't help but break out laughing, even if i didn't believe in God, i would laugh at it its just silly, and they cling to it like a crutch because as yet nobody has a better "scientific" theory...

on a side point i love when people say that Creationism and Science are at odd's, and creation and science are mutually exclusive... it makes me laugh... the reasoning is so simple... so... off the beaten path... haha

edit: these are comments... lets keep this an unheated discussion mmmk.

why does it always come down to science? since the discovery of the electro magnetic spectrum humans have learned that what they can touch, taste, smell, see, and hear is only one billionth of reality -unknown to me. since there was no evidence of gama rays before the discovery of EMS, could you say that they did not exist? who's to say that we have reached the peak of our technology? just because we have not created an instrument to detect the properties that God may posses does not mean that we can discredit God on the grounds of lack of evidence. perhaps God's properties are conceived of entities far beyond the scope of our perception.....no one knows..

whether God created us or we created God, God does exist; if not physically, then conceptually.

excellent point except for this... falls short of your original meaning.
