Many people may have overlooked it, but the webmaster has been kind enough to save pretty much every thread we've had here since we upgraded to vB over 3 years ago. The programming threads are still in their respective boards, but old GD posts have been moved to "A Brief History of Cprogramming.com".
I don't know how much time people have taken to browse that, but there are some really great threads in there, many started by people who aren't here much or gone entirely. It's also a decent way to check up on board history and see how things have evolved.
So, I'm creating this thread for people to post links to cool threads in there. There are plenty; if you want help, just sort it by # of replies (and make sure you're set up to view all threads, not just ones from the last 30 days)
I'm going to post this one, which isn't that amazing, but it's a good history thread. It's from back when I used to put a Useless Fact of the Day in my sig. I changed it daily for, jesus, close to a year at least. Eventually I ran out of stuff to put in it, but I still had fun doing it.
