Actually what it means is that he was going faster than you. The slower car gets the brunt of the damage. But he is a full frame vehicle and your uni-body puddle jumper is no match for that. Good illustration of why they want to force truck and SUV manufacterers to make sure the bumpers on the beasts line up with car bumpers. Look how far up the truck went into the car. The bumpers did not meet and if you were going faster, you would've been wearing his Ford emblem on your forehead. Your bumper didn't do anything but get squashed under his vehicle. The truck hit you right in the soft spot where the radiator is. There is nothing to stop him from slamming right into the passenger compartment save for your engine block which is probably what did stop him.

    And that's not a fender bender - that's trashed/totaled/kaputt.

    Glad you're OK.

    USA...
This is probably one of the issues where Sweden differs most from the USA. Cases like that would never work here. I don't know why, but no one would even think of it. Different culture/mentality probably.

I'd still blame your bad driving skills, I mean how hard is it to avoid a pothole that you know is there?

Glad you were able to gimp away

    >>i was making a right turn and the un-repaired road blew my tire causing me to be uncontrollably pulled into oncoming traffic. I'll put more tomm im rlly drugged, have a meeting with a lawyer tomm also, thinks i have a strong case on the state.<<

i'd be interested on how this plays out.

wouldnt be surprised if the states offers expert testimony on how a properly inflated and cared for tire would have managed to clear the road hazard - therefore the balme is place upon you and your bad driving skillz and bad tires.

good luck, you'll probably need it.

The car with less momentum experiences the highest forces. I'm willing to bet that RoD was the fasted vehicle, and that the truck was hardly moving, if at all. I say that as if the truck had been moving, both vehicles would have made it farther into the intersection. By position of the truck, I'm pretty sure the truck driver was not at fault in any way.
