That really sucks dude. Hope your knee feels better and just be glad that you didn't up with a mouthful of bumper :) They'd call you Toothless Rod and kids would throw rocks at you.

all you physics majors are forgetting that speed is not the only factor involved in figuring out momentum... it's velocity x mass, and a truck with an enclosed trailor containing two cycles has more mass than his car, so even if he was going 30 and the truck was going 10, his car would still have less momentum, and with the high point of impact his car never stood a chance... no matter how fast he was going...

YOu see, momentum is impulse over time, and impulse is mass times velocity. It is very easy to have a slower vehicle with greater mass to have more momentum then a faster vehicle with less mass.
So you see, I didn't contradict myself, you simply misread/misinterprited my post.
And RoD don't get so mad. It's not that I don't feel bad you busted your car and your knee, I don't disagree that potholes that are suposed to be fixed by our taxes caused your accident is sucky. I just don't think the truck was going 30 mph.
we should start a fund to buy rod an A.P.C :) hope the pills taste nice at least
He'd find a way to wreck that also. He has the same curse as Tim Taylor.

Cocaine and alcohol abuse?
Probably but wrong Tim Taylor :)
(TV Character not real person)
the driver admitted he was going 30mph.
i am alot like tim
so its the cocaine and alcohol then.
erm......walked into that 1
What's wrong with alcohol? Or cocaine?
Ummm...or at least the first one.

I met Tim Allen in person in 1993 at a race in st petersberg florida. Some sort of street race with a bunch of different races going on. He was driving some sort of car, 11 years ago, cant remember. He wrecked (probably because of coke/alcohol) and was kind enough to give me a signature, then he limped back to his multimillion dollar bus. Fun experience.
edit: i just noticed the relevance to this thread, he crashes a lot like you RoD :-p hah, nevermind
lol funny ppl :P
