Survival Football, ongoing! (GENERIC EXCITED TITLE)

Anyone interested in playing Survival Football? Its real easy, all you do is pick ONE team each week and if you are right, you continue, if you are wrong than you are out. Also, you can never pick the same team twice so pick carefully. Last person left is declared the winner! Couldn't be simpler unless it was.

Usually the rules are you pick a team you are certain is going to win the game. I'd like to do things a little differently and say for CProg Survival Football the team you pick is a team you are certain is going to LOSE the game. The reason being is that the other way everybody just always picks whoever is going against the Cardinals or Texans that week and isn't very exciting. True, this way you could just always pick whoever is going against he best teams like say the Eagles or Patriots, but I think its much harder for the good teams to win then the bad teams to lose.

Anyways, if interested, post your pick on this thread before the start of the first game on Sunday and make sure you are picking which team you think will LOSE. Also remember that once you pick them, that team is off limits for each subsequent week. If there is no interest, then well, I guess this thread will just die into oblivion

Here is the schedule, first team listed is the Vegas favorite, and home team is in caps.

DETROIT Houston -- Sun, Sep 19 at 11:00 am
Denver JACKSONVILLE -- Sun, Sep 19 at 11:00 am

So this way we can just pick the Cardinals or Texans instead of the teams they're playing against?

    I pick the Giants.

Yeah, but you can't pick the same team twice so after two weeks you gotta start thinking . The other way you would just always pick their opponant.

    >>DAMN you PJY, for not believeing in the supreme power of the Chicago BEARS!!!!.<< Considering they just lost to a team who hasn't won a road game in THREE YEARS I think I'd even take my high school team against them!

Kermi and JLou, you guys are picking KC and SD to LOSE right? Damn, I didn't think about how confusing this might be to change the rules like that

Yea I know...I may rethink that before sunday....but KC didn't look to hot Sunday. Denver had their number and their offense was shut down. Once Homles and Gonzales were covered, KC had nothing, and the panthers managed to shut hold Farve to only 143 yards - if they can stop the run - they have it. Plus KC couldn't stop the run - Carolina's strong suite.

Yes, I meant S.D. would lose. I think Kermi should get extra credit if his team loses, they're 6 point favorites!

Ok, with Stephan Smith out of action, I'm going to chicken out.

    I'm calling NYG to loose.
