    That'd be horrible. Language is the most important thing EVER invented by man; it has never, can never, and will never be surpassed. It is what defines us as humans. Why dishonor that gift by making it only once?

    I forgot the name of the language but it was language invented some time ago which would be the "language of the world" amazingly ppl even bother learning it...
    Do you happen to mean Esperanto? That is a conlang meant to be a worldwide language.

    I would pick what ever language would be the language of choice who wagered the most that I couldn't instantly learn the langauge of choice.

    ie:
    guy 1: I bet you 2000 dollars you dont know manderin
    guy 3: I bet you 40000 dollars you dont know hohokum

    I would pick hohokum
    c++->visualc++->directx->opengl->c++;

    No, no. That's not how it happened. One of them shot an arrow and missed the mammoth, and in his frustration kicked his foot into a rock. And thus language was born.

    Well, clearly, there are elements of language that are arbitrary, such as the exact words (lexemes) that make up one's vocabulary, but there is a lot of strong evidence for many elements of language being innate.

    well yes the diferences is this letter ñ (called eñe) uña (nail)
    and using doble L (doble ele) like Llaves (keys)
    and a few really few words that contain ( dieresis ) like in paragüas (umbrela) this are the little differences, well bye for now.

    Latin. It's a dead language, so I would never not know a new word. Plus, it's used by nearly every country.

    It was often used by most countries (including France) for official documents. It's used by biologists and such who give official scientific names for animals and such. It's used by a huge variety of proffessions and in many countries. It's also a dead language, so that's a nice addition.

    Well, I certainly knew about naming comventions and such. I thought you were talking about more widespread/common usage.

    Je le comprend.

    (And my use of french really had absolutely nothing to do with anything other than the fact that I was showing off that I still remember a few french words )
