Yeah, I think "I am silly" is quite over the top for the filter. I think it would be more prudent to replace each letter with a .... I mean sure, the poster isn't supose to be using profanity, but don't make it harder for me the innocent viewer to read the post. Especially when the fillter mis-catches a bad word and asserts all that junk into the post. It's more obnoxious (sp?) then profanity. I don't use profanity a lot, infact it's very sparingly, shouldn't my opinion matter?

Once you get used to it, it's really not bad. I think it's actually more effective, because instead of getting to take out their frustration on someone else, they just look like an idiot, which quite often is actually the case. Might be fun to change the filter once in a while to keep things interesting, but as it is, I don't have a problem.
