Arrow Your participation requested for an academic survey

    Dear forum users,

We are doing an academic research project on online service quality. We would be grateful if you could spare 3-5 minutes and complete our online questionnaire. The link for the questionnaire is provided below.

    http://www.uwe.ac.uk/bbs/osq/

Thank you for your help and time.

P.S. The forum leaders gave me permission to post this message.

Not that I don't believe you, but I'm going to close this until whoever gave you permission to start it opens it. I'm the only mod on right now, so I'm just making sure.

edit: stamped by kermi, thread re-opened.

edit:: I thought this would be mostly multiple choice, but no! there was more writing...so I gave up.

yeah dude, you would get many more submissions if it was all multiple choice; I submitted mine but didn't write anything.

If everything was multiple choice then it wouldn't serve to the aim of my research.

Yeah... but people are lazy by nature. You're lucky you got more than 3 words out of me on the last part.

You'd be better off listing a bunch of things and asking people to pick from a list. And you could always have "other" boxes for answers you didn't think of.

And I seriously think your output is going to be skewed. I answered from a developer's perspective (good design, smooth lines/layout, portable across browsers, etc.) but you're also going to get answers like "as long as it works, I don't care". I will literally not buy from a website that looks like garbage. It makes me scared to think of how they handle my information when they can't spend a little time to make it look presentable.

You're not supposed to write paragrahps. A few words in each box is enough.

The questionnaire's webpage was down for about 4 hours yesterday due to a problem with the university's server. It's working properly now. Sorry about this problem.

Posted with permission or not, I still think that the same rules apply to you as they do others. Bumping old posts to get more views has never been looked kindly upon when another member of this board has done it, and since you're also a member of the board, the same posting guidelines apply to you.

If a Mod tells me I'm wrong on this, then I'll drop it.
