Konquer is my favorite, although i wish it would ahve a loading cursor, so you can tell whena page is loading (instead of looking at the spinning thing in the top right )...thats prolly just cause im used to IE (5), as I use it when im on windows

My favourite browser is Netscape 6.1. I've only just downloaded 6.2 and haven't reaslly tried it out yet. I hardly use IE now though I stil download the new versions when they come out through habit. I have Opera 5.12 too.

After comparing Netscape 6.2 and IE 6.0 now for the past four hours I have come to the conclusion that IE stinks. It is so slow and bitty.
I'm glad to be back with Netscape.

For Linux: Mozilla is the favourite. Though I'm also using Konqueror and sometimes even Netscape.

For Windows: IE, Netscape, or Opera, it doesn't matter at all.

BTW, Pendragon, I do hope that you realize that it's very important that you answer my question. Do I sound like a psycho? Please...

I have IE 5.5. Is that much different than IE 5??? or IE 6??
I have little experience with Netscape. I am not used to it. Prefer IE over Netscape.

I used to have IE 5.5. It was great! But then I switched to IE 6.0, thinking it is newer and should be better... BUT I WAS WRONG... It kept on showing this "Internet Explorere has caused an error (or something like this)" and it asks whether I want to send an error report to Microsoft. Every time after that happens a new browser opens up. This usu. happens when I close of a browser... It is SO annoying and the old one (5.5) doesn't do that... The browser at my school (also 6.0) doesn that error thing too... I wonder if any of you experienced that...

Hmmmm...I have been using Microsoft Internet Explorer for as long as I can remember, except for when I had America Online, but even then, I still used Internet Explorer sometimes.

Since I've gotten Windows 2000, I've been using Internet Explorer 6.0, and I've never noticed the problem that you have experienced Michelle...Maybe it's some website that you go to that contains a virus or something? Could be anything...

I have IE 6 (the one that comes with XP pro) and I've also had the problem Michelle haves, but I also had the same thing with IE 5 on Windows 98 SE, the difference is that it didn't let me send the error through the internet (like IE6 really DID send the error report )

Michelle: Do you have Visual Studio 6 and/or Microsoft Office 2000 ?

I don't think that was a spam post!, we are still talking about Internet Browsers, aren't we?

Well, what my help files said is that if you had either of these programs, you should download the latest bugfix, I think you should do so too, but for Windows ME.

it should be on your "Start" menu, but if you don't, the address is http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

I don't think so either. I just went back from 6.0 to 5.5 because I couldn't use it to do my online courses...

Go figure. I thought it would be better too.

really you can go back? How do you do that? I want to go back too... I don't know of anything so far that 5.5 can't do and 6.0 can...
