    station names

    To all of you that run networks and those of you that have just named your computers, just out of interest what have you called them.

    The machines on my network are called, Challenger, Apollo and Discovery.

    LOL.... I was going to write somthing like that.......


    Ah well..... I only have 2 pcs at home so its not much of an issue....

    I worked for a firm once with about a dozen pcs..... I used to name them after the office....(accounts, reception1...ect)....then the office got moved around so I changed it to the names of the people using them then people started to leave and i gave up..... only I knew who had what on the LAN......

    Whatever's the name on the box, that's what I name it on the
    network-- Cirrus, PCStar, Compustar, Notebook 1 and 2.

    mine is named Leo.
    Some other machines on my network are Darth_Vader, Annihilator, Bullet, Thunder, The_Matrix ...
