Editor should've picked that one up

Very sad, but I thought the Deputy Coroner's name was unfortunate.

CSU student drank equivalent of 40 beers

    The Associated Press

FORT COLLINS -- A 19-year-old college student drank up to 40 beers and shots in an 11-hour period, investigators said Friday.
Samantha Spady had a blood-aclohol level of 0.436 percent - above the 0.4 percent considered potentially deadly - when her body was found Sept 6. at the Sigma Pi fraternity house at Colorado State University, Deputy Coroner Dean Beers said.

Indeed a very very sad story,

I dont even think she couldīve drank all those beers herself... What i mean is that probably she got forced to drink all this crap and mess up her life...

Makes me cry when i read things like, misuse of drugs are always a sad thing...Things like this make sure that governments try to push these things away out of society...

About the coroners name: indeed very unfortunate...

What a sad world we are living in

meh that is nothing...my personal best was 12 cases of beer (12 bottles each: 10 of Hineken and 2 of Corona) split among three guys and drank in about 8 hours while playing cards. After a while a cycle develops where you drink about 4 bottles and ......... After that we started drinking tequila, and after half of the bottle all of fell asleep... good times...

I think you mean Heineken and btw that beer sucks, I dont know why but its one of the beers that is widely distributed in the whole world but still that beer sucks...

I know if you would ask 1000 Belgian ppl who drink beer the question "What do you think of Heineken?" All of them would say: "duuuuuuuuuude that beer sucks!"

I appeal to Maes to give his opinion on this one

And sorry again i went off-topic

yes I know that it sucks... believe me, I'm a pretty big beer connoisseur. At the time I was 17 and had not developed good taste for beer plus I got it for about $8 a case, which was a damn good deal.

What do you think of Belgian wine beers?

If you would like to drink good Belgian beer go for: Maes ( not the member of this board its really beer ), Jupiler, Hoegaarden, Duvel, Leffe Blond or Leffe Bruin, Kriek Belle-Vue Ooh and a less famous beer in Belgium but darn good "AdamsAppel"...

recently I've had Bel Pils...and it was just OK. Duvel is one of my favorite beers ever; my dad and I try to always have a couple of bottles in the cellar...but lately it has been hard to find. It is a strong beer (I think it is over 8%) yet it tastes great!.

I can't believe you can have a discussion about Belgain beers and not mention the almighty Stella. That stuff has been helping ugly people get laid since 1366.

I just cant imagine someone drinking herself to death... I mean there will surely be a stage where you cant even lift your beer again because your already that drunk, so how come she can dy...

I just think that she was actually forced to drink...Because i dont know but when im friggin drunk i know i shouldnt drink again and hell you will not be able to let me drink anymore again...

Iīv had 3 ugly experiences with beer and shots and i dont want to have it again...
Not because i was drunk but because i injured myself seriously while driving my bicycle trying to get home.... ( one time i even drove of the road straight into an open gutter... )
    Aaaah those sweet memories

well if she ws forced to drink, then that's another story - it is called homocide. I doubt that was the case though... maybe she was on antibiotics or some other medicine when she started drinking; maybe she didn't eat for a week - who knows.

Yeah i think our dear coroner Dean Beers will have to agree on this one, although Iīm very positive that she was actually abducted by aliens just after drinking the 40th bottle...As a consequence of the alien tests she fell asleep never to awake again.

All of us always search for the easiest solution isnīt it...

    >>A case is 24

Crappy cans, yes - not bottles. Case of bottles is 12, in the states that is - almost everywhere else it is 20 .5 liter.
