William Shatner - Not ... so great.. in .. startrek... But actually cool in song??!!

IMHO, I thought WS is a huge overactor, especially in star trek (not my fav, i like generation and voyager). So I always thought he sucked.

Well, I just heard a song thats actually damn near cool and good even. William Shatner - Common People.

Of course I only heard it cause I'm stuck listening to internet radio while at school waiting for my next class to start, finnishing my physics lab.

Any one else actually heard the song and like it? I'm so surprised - almost forced to change my views on life, the universe and all things equal!!! Well not really.

Sorry for the rant, too much time to pass between classes.
(it should be realized my posts are all in a light hearted manner. And should not be taken offense to.)

"Stuck" listening to internet radio? If I had internet radio available all the time (work, car, etc..) I would never even turn on local broadcast radio.

Oh, and I haven't heard that song, but the first time I heard Shatner do "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" I was laughing so hard tears were coming out of my eyes..

yeah I hard that song a few weeks ago on Mancow... it isn't really a song, more like a recitation with a beat - a ballad perhaps. I also heard another one about the death of his wife... that one is eerie...

    some entropy with that sink?
