There are people that are actually protesting
Harry Potter because they think it's associated
with Satan (or something bad). These people are,
    crazy..

let me say this, I really like Harry Potter books, and I have been waiting for the movie release (Nov 30 here) and I am being crazy because the premiere date and time is the same of my graduation's pre-ceremony, do not attack Harry Potter until you read its books.

On the other side, several societies of witchcraft (very serious people) are condemning the movie as well. Only they are because the broom flying scenes are all wrong. The broom is riden backwards. *sigh* What were they thinking?

I would have thought you'd have similar problems to Pendragon in this exercise...

My only problem with the whole Harry Potter phenomonen is the number of people (especially strangers) who've said "You look just like Harry Potter"

Maybe it's time to get a haircut and a new pair of glasses, or perhaps a gun.
Lead me not into temptation... I can find it myself.

    LO(VERY)L

    That's cool.
How are you going to grow it in a few months?
If I remember right, Gandalfs beard was about 35cm long.

But I wish you good luck, maby you'll be ...um... fast enough.

The Harry Potter books are fantastic and I love Tolkein's The Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit and The Silmarillion.

On the other side, several societies of witchcraft (very serious people) are condemning the movie as well. Only they are because the broom flying scenes are all wrong. The broom is riden backwards. *sigh* What were they thinking?
This is laughable. I have some friends who are involved in witchcraft and the like. They loved the film and are practical thinking enough not to nit-pick about how brooms are flown because as most people know it's slightly difficult to get a domestic appliance to take to the air. Whether you're trying to ride it backwards or not.
