My bro recommended it, after i didn't pay much attention to what google brought up in my search for free c++ tutorials.

Almighty Google showed me The Way to The board.
Feels as if it comes straight out of some religious book, but of course these small fonts make it look like one crappy advertisement that makes you look at the small letters which most of the times contains strange information...

looking for C tutorials. Did not find anything like that - but I did find the forums, so I was not too upset..

I typed in www.cprogramming.com. I didn't know there were forums for almost a year.
If I did your homework for you, then you might pass your class without learning how to write a program like this. Then you might graduate and get your degree without learning how to write a program like this. You might become a professional programmer without knowing how to write a program like this. Someday you might work on a project with me without knowing how to write a program like this. Then I would have to do you serious bodily harm. - Jack Klein

Woo!
Half a thousand!
Lets see I was trying to figure out how to send a break character over a serial port in C using an old dos 16 bit compiler. I searched for some help, got pointed to here.
And speaking of post counts, at the beginning of the year mine was right around 1k.
I was looking for help on really basic syntax I was messing up, and found this board on a google search.
I came after a google search for c++, something about games and c++. I wanted help in creating a game in c++.
Notice how my first thread is not a " i want to learn game programming, can i make games with c++?" lame waste of time.
It's this!

hurray for me.
I actually searched for stuff to put that together, then posted. FAQ+SEARCH = t3h win. I should have gotten some kind of award. Since I didn't then, I wouldn't mind one now. So kermi, i'm waiting for my super special title. Or something.
